Regular Italian Language Courses
Quarter 1 (January 6th - March 29th, 2025)

Courses’ difficulty is in numerical order, from 101 (total beginner) to 403 (most advanced).

If you plan to enroll in any course above a 101 level as a new student, it’s mandatory to take a Placement Test before enrolling in a class. 
​Your enrollment will be held until you submit the Placement Test. ​
The cost of the Placement Test will be deducted from the cost of the tuition.

  • Beginner / Pre-Intermediate (for students enrolled in 103 - 105) - Monday 12:00 pm ET online

  • Intermediate - Wednesday 5:00 pm ET online

  • Advanced - Wednesday 11:30 am ET online

  • Advanced - Thursday 6:00 pm ET in-person and online

Students who enroll in 101-105 level courses can buy New Italian Espresso Beginner and Pre-intermediate Updated Edition (Textbook and Workbook) here. PICK UP ONLY at our school. We do not mail the books.

Method of Payment:

  • You may pay on our website through SQUARE, PAYPAL or with your Credit Card.

  • Checks are greatly appreciated: checks can be made payable to America-Italy Society, 230 South Broad St., Suite 1105 Phila 19102

School Rules:

  • TUITION REFUNDS: To be eligible for a tuition refund, students must contact the AIS office at least 24 hours before the first class ($50 will be retained by AIS).

  • TUITION CREDIT: After the first class, only a credit for the next session will be issued (a $100 cancellation fee plus $35 per class taken is retained by AIS). No credit is issued after the end of the FIRST week of classes. 

  • If there are less than 4 students in a class, the course cannot begin. Students will have the option to join another class or they can opt for receiving full credit or a full refund. 

  • Class recording is not permitted
