SUMMERTIME in Todi: Discover the real Italy in Umbria!
In Todi, a gorgeous Umbrian hill town, students enjoy living the "Italia" lifestyle: food, people, art, nature.
Italian language lessons will be held during the morning and cultural activities in the afternoon.
You can live with an Italian family or in an independent apartment or in hotel.
We are NOT a travel agency, This trip is only for people interested in the Italian language and with good and independent mobility skills.

Many of our students go regularly to the language school in Todi and stay with local families.
Cultural Activities and Excursions Itinerary:

We’ll meet at Rome International Airport Fiumicino FCO at 10:30 am for private transportation to Todi.
Benvenuti a Todi! Get settled and meet your host family!
4:00 PM Guided tour of the city and Aperitiviamo (let’s have a chat and get a drink together!) A chance to have a chat in Italian outside the classroom in a relaxed situation seated at the bar drinking a Prosecco or a delicious fruit juice cocktails together with your teacher!

(14:30 - 18:30) GUIDED VISIT OF
GUBBIO. On the slopes of Mount Ingino stands
Gubbio, the stone city of Umbria. Built almost
entirely of stone Gubbio remains today one of
the most beautiful medieval towns in the world,
due to the state of preservation of the
monuments and the entire wall system. Rich in
history, art, good food it is famous especially for
its long tradition of “la corsa dei ceri”, a big ceremony that takes place every May 15th to celebrate the Bishop Ubaldo who led Gubbio to victory against Perugia. The basilica dedicated
to him dominates the whole town from the top

(16.30- 18.30) EXPERIENCE AT PASSO DELLA
PALOMBA, a typical local farm that
produces its own olive oil and wine in the
land nearby our town. you will have the
chance to visit the farm and learn more
about olive oil, how to read labels and how
to properly appreciate the peculiarity of
typical Umbrian olive oil. The experience will
end with a tasting of their products, all

(14:30-18.30) GUIDED VISIT OF ASSISI. This
picturesque pilgrimage destination has been a
UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. The
town is beautifully situated on a fertile hillside
decorated with olive groves and cypress trees.
It is the birthplace of two of Catholicism's most
revered saints, who influenced both the town's
history and humanity itself: St. Francis (1182)
and St. Clare (1193). You will take the time to
appreciate the frescos in St. Francis church,
stroll alleys of the town and relax in cozy
terraces and small squares to drink a
cappuccino, a refreshing beer or a good glass
of Doc Assisi wine.(Evening) Dinner with your host family

(16:30 -18.30) GUIDED TOUR AT CASEIFICIO
MONTECRISTO Visit at the cheese factory. The Host will introduce you in their daily production activity and will show you how they make cheese. The experience will end with their Cheese tasting and a cup of wine.(Evening) Dinner with your host family

(14:15 -20.00) GUIDED VISIT OF PERUGIA AND
PERUGINA MUSEUM AND FACTORY. Let's begin our afternoon exploring the historic center
of Perugia, a city rich in history and culture. With our tour guide We'll stroll through the medieval streets, admiring the ancient walls and the majestic Fontana Maggiore. We'll discover the story of Luisa Spagnoli, a prominent figure in the city, a famous entrepreneur who founded the eponymous fashion brand and played a key role in the development of the local confectionery industry, La Perugina. We'll conclude our visit at the Perugina Museum, where we can immerse ourselves in the world of chocolate, explore the factory, and savor the sweetness of the famous
Baci Perugina.(Evening) Dinner with your host family

WE OFFER 3 DIFFERENT PLANS:
Plan A: $1,930.00 per person: Accommodation with a family (breakfast and dinner provided), 4 hr/day Italian language school and cultural activities
Plan B: $1830.00 per person: Independent apartment (no meals provided), 4 hr/day Italian language school and cultural activities
Plan C: $1350.00 per person: accommodation in hotel (NOT included in the price, no meals provided), 4 hr/day Italian language school and cultural activities
You may pay in one solution by October 31, 2024. If you are an AIS member, you'll receive a $50.00 discount.

Each private transfer from Rome International airport FCO to Todi (and back to FCO)
Italian classes (20 hours),
course book, La Lingua La Vita folder with pen, photocopies, welcome card, entry test, application form, TULPA certificate,
