Fabio Verdiani

LANGUAGE INSTRUCTOR

Originally from Genoa, Italy, Fabio has a rich and multifaceted background in education, art, and international business. After earning his degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Genoa, he began his career teaching Italian in a local high school. His path later led him through a 35-year global leadership journey in the software industry, where he specialized in coaching, knowledge enablement, and process optimization in Paris and then in the U.S.

In recent years, Fabio returned to his creative roots, founding Fabio Verdiani Designs, a furniture restoration studio that celebrates Italian artistry and decorative traditions and also provides hands-on painting workshops in both English and Italian. A trilingual communicator (Italian, English, French), Fabio divides his time between Philadelphia and his home in Liguria, where his passion for Italian history, culture, and design continues to inspire his work. Sharing the richness of his native language and culture, and helping students connect more deeply with Italy’s vibrant artistic and humanistic heritage is the what fuels Fabio's passion in teaching Italian.

The America-Italy Society of Philadelphia promotes friendship and cultural understanding between the Republic of Italy and the United States of America
